Abstract

We present limits on anomalous WWZ and WW\ensuremathγ couplings from a search for WW and WZ production in pp collisions at √(s)\phantom\rule0ex0ex=\phantom\rule0ex0ex1.8TeV. We use pp\ensuremath→e\ensuremathνjjX events recorded with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider during the 1992--1995 run. The data sample corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 96.0\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi5.1pb^\ensuremath-1. Assuming identical WWZ and WW\ensuremathγ coupling parameters, the 95% C.L. limits on the CP-conserving couplings are \ensuremath-0.33&lt;\ensuremathλ&lt;0.36 (\ensuremathΔ\ensuremathκ\phantom\rule0ex0ex=\phantom\rule0ex0ex0) and \ensuremath-0.43&lt;\ensuremathΔ\ensuremathκ&lt;0.59 (\ensuremathλ\phantom\rule0ex0ex=\phantom\rule0ex0ex0), for a form factor scale \ensuremathΛ\phantom\rule0ex0ex=\phantom\rule0ex0ex2.0TeV. Limits based on other assumptions are also presented.
