Abstract

We present updated measurements of the CP-violating parameters S_\ensuremathπ\ensuremathπ and C_\ensuremathπ\ensuremathπ in B⁰\ensuremath→\ensuremathπ⁺\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath- decays. Using a sample of 227\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10⁶ \ensuremathΥ(4S)\ensuremath→BB decays collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e⁺e^\ensuremath- collider at SLAC, we observe 467\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi33 signal decays and measure S_\ensuremathπ\ensuremathπ=\ensuremath-0.30\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.17(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.03(syst) and C_\ensuremathπ\ensuremathπ=\ensuremath-0.09\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.15(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.04(syst).
