Abstract

We present a measurement of D0\mathrm\text\ensuremath-D0 mixing parameters using the ratios of lifetimes extracted from samples of D0 mesons decaying to K^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ+, K^\ensuremath-K+, and \ensuremathπ^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ+. Using 91 fb^\ensuremath-1 of data collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory, we obtain a value Y=\phantom\rule0ex0ex[0.8\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.4(stat.)\genfrac0+0.5\ensuremath-0.4(syst.)]%, which, in the limit of CP conservation, corresponds to the mixing parameter y=\ensuremathΔ\ensuremathΓ/2\ensuremathΓ. Using the difference in lifetimes of D0 and D0 mesons, we obtain the CP-violation parameter \ensuremathΔY=[\ensuremath-0.8\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.6(stat.)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.2(syst.)]%.
