We present an improved measurement of the standard model CP violation parameter sin2\ensuremathφ1 (also known as sin2\ensuremathβ) based on a sample of 85\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi106 BB pairs collected at the \ensuremathΥ(4S) resonance with the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy e+e^\ensuremath- collider. One neutral B meson is reconstructed in a J/\ensuremathψKS0, \ensuremathψ(2S)KS0, \ensuremathχc1KS0, \ensuremathηcKS0, J/\ensuremathψK*0, or J/\ensuremathψKL0 CP-eigenstate decay channel and the flavor of the accompanying B meson is identified from its decay products. From the asymmetry in the distribution of the time interval between the two B meson decay points, we obtain sin2\ensuremathφ1=0.719\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.074(stat)\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.035(syst).
