Abstract

After explaining the necessity for exotic hadrons, we discuss mechanisms which could account for the production of the exotic \ensuremathΘ-baryon. A possible important role of resonances (producing the \ensuremathΘ in real or virtual decays) is advanced and emphasized for selected processes. Promising experimental investigations of such resonances, and the \ensuremathΘ itself, are suggested. We also briefly discuss recent negative results regarding the \ensuremathΘ-baryon.
