Abstract

The E799-II (KTeV) experiment at Fermilab has collected 83 262 KL\ensuremath→e+e^\ensuremath-\ensuremathγ(\ensuremathγ) events above a background of 79 events. We measure a decay width, normalized to the KL\ensuremath→\ensuremathπ0\ensuremathπ0\ensuremathπD0 (\ensuremathπ0\ensuremath→\ensuremathγ\ensuremathγ, \ensuremathπ0\ensuremath→\ensuremathγ\ensuremathγ, \ensuremathπD0\ensuremath→e+e^\ensuremath-\ensuremathγ(\ensuremathγ)) decay width, of \ensuremathΓ(KL\ensuremath→e+e^\ensuremath-\ensuremathγ(\ensuremathγ))/\ensuremathΓ(KL\ensuremath→\ensuremathπ0\ensuremathπ0\ensuremathπD0)=(1.3302\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.0046stat\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.0102syst)\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-3. We also measure parameters of two KL\ensuremathγ*\ensuremathγ form factor models. In the Bergstr"om-Mass'o-Singer parametrization, we find C\ensuremathα_K*=\ensuremath-0.517\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.030stat\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.022syst. We separately fit for the first parameter of the D'Ambrosio-Isidori-Portol'es model and find \ensuremathαDIP=\ensuremath-1.729\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.043stat\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.028syst.
