Abstract

The cross section of the process e+e^\ensuremath-\ensuremath→\ensuremathπ+\ensuremathπ^\ensuremath-\ensuremathπ0 was measured in the Spherical Neutral Detector (SND) experiment at the VEPP-2M collider in the energy region √(s) below 980 MeV. This measurement was based on about 1.2\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi106 selected events. The obtained cross section was analyzed together with the SND and DM2 data in the energy region √(s) up to 2 GeV. The \ensuremathω-meson parameters m_\ensuremathω=782.79\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.08\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.09MeV, \ensuremathΓ_\ensuremathω=8.68\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.04\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.15MeV, and \ensuremathσ(\stackrel\ensuremath→\ensuremathω3\ensuremathπ)=1615\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi9\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi57nb were obtained. It was found that the experimental data cannot be described by a sum of only \ensuremathω, \ensuremathφ, \ensuremathω^\ensuremath', and \ensuremathω^\ensuremath'' resonance contributions. This can be interpreted as a manifestation of \stackrel\ensuremath→\ensuremathρ3\ensuremathπ decay, suppressed by G parity, with a relative probability B(\stackrel\ensuremath→\ensuremathρ3\ensuremathπ)=(1.01_\ensuremath-0.36+0.54\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi0.034)\ifmmode×\else\texttimes\fi10^\ensuremath-4.
