We consider the phenomenological description of the two pion invariant mass spectrum in the V^\ensuremath'\ensuremath→V\ensuremathπ\ensuremathπ decays. We study the parametrization of the amplitude involving both S and D wave contributions. From a fit to the two pion decays of the \ensuremathΥ(nS) and \ensuremathΨ(nS) we determine the f0(600) mass and width to be m_f0=528\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi32MeV and \ensuremathΓ_f0=413\ifmmode±\else\textpm\fi45MeV. The mass and width values we report correspond, respectively, to the real and imaginary part of the S matrix pole.
