During operation of buildings, the humidity state of enclosing structure materials (i. e. their moisture content in all phases) changes depending on the design features, material properties, temperature and humidity conditions in the premises, and climatic conditions of the construction area. To correctly take into account the thermal conductivity of building materials in heat engineering calculations, it is necessary to solve two problems – competent determination of the thermal conductivity of the material in a dry state under laboratory conditions and an error-free assignment of the calculated thermal conductivity depending on the selected operating conditions of the structure (taking into account the correction of the thermal conductivity in a dry state for the operational humidity). This article presents the results of an experimental determination of the thermal conductivity coefficient of modern thermal insulation materials used in Lugansk in new construction and reconstruction of public and residential buildings. Graphs of the dependence of thermal conductivity coefficients on sorption humidity were obtained, sorption isotherms of the studied insulation materials were constructed. It was found that the humidity of the insulation changes over time depending on changes in the temperature of the internal and external air and on the sorption properties of the insulation material.
