Abstract

Abstract Asthelys antarctica n. sp. from off the South Shetland Islands is described, together with Halystes (n. gen.) chimaera n. sp., from the Tasman and southern South Pacific Basins. Hadroconus diadematus n. sp., Seguenzia matara n. sp., Sericogyra (n. gen.) metallica n. sp., and S. periglenes n. sp., are described from the New Zealand slope of the Tasman Basin. Asthelys cf. simplex (Watson 1879) is recorded for the first time from the Tasman Basin. Quinnia nom. nov. is proposed as a replacement name for Seguenziella Marshall, 1983 (preoccupied).
