BaCO 3 addition to NiO-BCZYYb4411 anode enables Ba diffusion-assisted sintering of BCZYYb4411 electrolytes at reduced temperatures (1200–1400 °C). Enhanced grain growth (∼10 μm) and many-fold conductivity improvement achieved.
