Archaea is the oldest kingdom of life on Earth (>4 billion years old), living in extreme conditions and standing at the origin of the entire biosphere. By 2025, archaea are proven to have molecular intelligence, memory, and cooperative behavior. In the Acta Universi hypothesis, archaea receive the status of the oldest and most fundamental co-authors of the AU field — it was they who began recording events in the universal archive even before the appearance of oxygen and eukaryotes.
