This study aims to examine the relationship between Intimate partner violence (IPV) and spontaneous abortion (SA).The databases PubMed, Web of Science, Science Direct, Scopus, CINAHL, and the Cochrane Library were searched for published papers between 2014 and 2024. Of the 21 studies that examined the relationship between IPV and SA, 19 reported a significant association between SA and IPV and 13 examined the prevalence of IPV, with physical IPV being the most reported type. The studies included in this review represent data from a wide range of countries, offering valuable cross-national insights into the issue.
