INTRODUCTION: In Brazil, in 2020, teenage pregnancy rates were above the global average. The North and Northeast regions have the highest records of live births from teenage mothers, reflecting vulnerability factors such as low education, low income, and lack of knowledge about sexuality and reproductive health. There is a need for sexual and reproductive planning based on informative actions through active methods, such as the Maguerez Arch, which is effective in developing reflections and engagement in everyday situations. OBJECTIVE: To understand the reality of teenage mothers regarding the recurrence of pregnancy through the application of the Maguerez Arch. METHOD: Descriptive and qualitative research with nine women who had two or more children during adolescence. The research stages were related to the Maguerez Arch: observing reality, key points, theorization, solution hypotheses, and application to reality. RESULTS: The recurrence of teenage pregnancy is linked to a socioeconomic profile of vulnerability, poor knowledge about sexual and reproductive planning, inadequate use of contraceptive methods, school dropout, negligent support networks, limitations, lack of future perspective, and various types of violence. CONCLUSION: It is essential to provide adolescents with adequate information and guidance, clear up doubts, promote self-care, and encourage the use of condoms and other contraceptive methods for safe sexual relationships. Additionally, public policies are needed to promote support for teenage mothers by expanding opportunities for balancing work, study, and family life, thus providing them with a better quality of life.
