Lilium spp. flowers are highly valued worldwide for their ornamental quality. Winter production in the Northern Hemisphere is limited by low temperatures, making indoor cultivation under artificial light (AL) a potential alternative. This study evaluated three artificial light sources (FEIT Electric 9 W, Plusrite 10 W, and Platinum LED 450 W) for indoor cultivation of Lilium spp. cv. Arbatax at two planting dates (8 and 18 Dec). Although the luminaires showed similar spectral distributions within the photosynthetically active radiation range (400–700 nm), they differed markedly in photosynthetic photon flux density and daily light integral (DLI). Plants exposed to low DLI levels (2.3–4.2 mol·m −2 ·d −1 ) exhibited increased vegetative growth, whereas higher DLI levels (17.9 mol·m −2 ·d −1 ) promoted larger flower diameter. Indoor production under artificial lighting resulted in acceptable flower quality and a shortened production cycle. A recommended planting window is 10 through 12 Dec to allow harvest several days before Valentine’s Day. Economic feasibility must be carefully assessed due to current energy costs, however.
