Abstract

Abstract Chemical and spectroscopic evidence has led to the derivation of formulas VII, VIII (R=CH 3 , R'=COOCH 3 ) and VIII (R=H, R'=COOCH 3 ) for pleiocarpine, pleiocarpinine and kopsinine, respectively.
