Abstract

Abstract By the action of pyridine on various Grignard reagents at room temperature, new diorganomagnesium complexes R 2 Mg · 2pyridine (R=Ph, n ‐Bu, t ‐Bu and Et) were prepared and analyzed. Anomalous results were obtained with methyl‐ or benzylmagnesium reagents.
