Abstract

All adult pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) hospitalizations (N = 66) during 2018-2022 at Highland Hospital were reviewed. Positive sputum smears were significantly associated with longer median excess length of stay (9 d). Implementing new TB infection control guidance and investing in community-based isolation facilities may reduce healthcare utilization.
