Abstract
Background: Raffray, 1890 (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae, Pselaphinae, Hybocephalini) includes four known species occurring in East and Southeast Asia. New information: , is described from Heyuan City, Guangdong Province, China. Important morphological characters of the new species are illustrated by colour plates.
