Abstract

In a one-pot synthesis of N -phenylbenzylamine from benzaldehyde and aniline, C 3 N 4 modified with an Au cocatalyst was utilized in the presence of an organic acid. The organic acid fulfilled two functions: as an acid catalyst and a hole scavenger.
