Abstract

A wide and diverse body of scholarship has argued that theorizing reproduction necessitates engagement with time and temporalities. In this article, we reflect on two different perspectives on the state of this field of scholarship, which we articulate in relation to our respective areas of research: life course and gestation. Reading across these topics, we suggest, highlights a shared set of concerns that could productively be named “time and reproduction studies.”
