The presence of the rare alpine insect Hemerobius schedli Hölzel, 1970 was confirmed with preserved museum specimens in Basel and London. In addition, live specimens were collected during light trapping in and around the Swiss National Park in the Engadin Valley in the summer of 2024 and by beating in the Visper Valley in 2025.
