Publicly funded projects and collaborative initiatives between academia and industry possess vast potential for driving progress and addressing critical challenges. However, their impact often hinges on effective communication and dissemination. Vital discoveries can remain underutilized if knowledge is trapped within research silos. To address this, the Computational and Structural Biotechnology Journal (CSBJ) proudly introduces a new article type: Innovation Reports. As part of our commitment to providing diverse and innovative content, this exciting article type aims to provide a dedicated platform for researchers and project teams to share the impact of their valuable work funded by grants or supported by national/international funding agencies, public-private partnership initiatives, and framework programs.
