Abstract

<b>This report</b> explores new research conducted in 2025 and seeks to further understand the needs of care-experienced students. It builds upon recommendations made in the ‘Pathways to University from Care’ policy paper (2019), highlighting the progress of sector-wide initiatives and considering the impact of efforts to provide more consistent support.Ethical permission was granted by the University of Sheffield Research Ethics Committee.
