Abstract

17 O ESEEM spectroscopy identifies the Cu–OOH intermediate formed during the Cu–Aβ–O 2 reaction with ascorbate. Integrated EPR and kinetic analyses elucidate the mechanisms of metal ion-mediated oxidative stress and amyloid fibrillization.
