This study explores the interconnections between the European far right, Aginter Press, and American intelligence during the Cold War (1960–1975), with a specific focus on their involvement in anti-communist covert operations. It examines how far-right factions aligned ideologically with Western interests and were actively integrated into clandestine initiatives, including Operation CHAOS and various counterinsurgency efforts across Europe, Africa, and South America. By analysing declassified intelligence documents and investigative records, the article reconstructs the geopolitical, ideological, and operational dimensions of this transnational collaboration. It posits that the transnationalism of the far right was not merely a spontaneous development but was strategically orchestrated, positioning European extremists as instruments of American geopolitical influence. The study ultimately contributes to the broader discourse on Cold War intelligence operations and the use of extremist groups as proxies in ideological conflicts.
