Abstract

This conceptual paper proposes the Compression–Resonance–Tension Index (CRTI) as a potential stability parameter for complex adaptive systems. The framework formalizes systemic fragility as a balance between structural compression and internal tension versus environmental resonance and adaptive reserves. The model is discussed in relation to stability parameters in physics and engineering, including Reynolds numbers, Rayleigh numbers, Toomre Q parameters, and damping ratios. The paper aims to stimulate interdisciplinary exploration of structural fragility and singularization dynamics across technical, biological, and social systems.
