This figure displays dynamic imaging acquired on the 9.4T Bruker MRI scanner at the Biomedical Research Imaging Center (BRIC), UNC-Chapel Hill, using the custom-developed PETALUTE pulse sequence. Data collection began 50 seconds prior to injection of hyperpolarized [1-¹³C]pyruvate. Following injection, the PETALUTE acquisition captures the rapid propagation of the hyperpolarized solution within the phantom. The hyperpolarized signal remains detectable for approximately 10 seconds before decaying as the system relaxes toward thermal equilibrium.
