The Prehistory and Early History Collection of the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena contains 19 mummies, which were taken over by the Theodor Meyer-Steineg Medical History Collection in 2022.These are two South American child mummies and 17 fragments of Egyptian mummies.These were examined both anthropologically and radiologically and the results are presented in this article.In addition, as a special feature, the analyzes of the textile remains preserved on the mummy are presented in detail.
