A 16-year-old neutered female European Shorthair indoor cat with a history of poor appetite was referred to our hospital for evaluation.The cat was regularly vaccinated and dewormed, and no significant abnormalities were noted in the medical records.On presentation, the cat was bright and responsive, with normal vital parameters.The body condition score was 3/9.A CBC revealed no abnormalities.Serum biochemical analysis revealed a mild increase in creatinine levels (177.4 mol/L).Urinalysis results were unremarkable, except for a decreased urine specific gravity (1.027).Systolic blood pressure measured with the Doppler method was 137 mm Hg.The patient tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
