This article attempts to summarize the state of scientific knowledge on the criminality of the pharmaceutical industry, based on American and French sources. After recalling the most serious cases since the 1950s, and the millions of deaths and serious injuries caused to the public, it details the mechanisms of fraud and corruption commonly practiced by these industries. He also explores the issue of conflicts of interest among the "experts" mobilized by public health safety agencies, and the "revolving door" phenomenon that lies behind them. The author also highlights the structural flaws of these agencies. Finally, he shows that the financial sanctions to which these industries are regularly subjected are an integral part of their business model, so that this delinquent system seems to know no bounds in contemporary Western societies.
