Background: Maddison, 2014, the only recorded Asian genus of the subfamily Hisponinae Simon, 1901, is represented by four tree bark dwellers restricted to Malaysia, India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka. New information: is described, based on both sexes from Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China. Diagnostic photos of the habitus and copulatory organs and a distributional map are provided.
