Abstract

EM2040 multibeam swath bathymetry data collected by the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle 'Ran' (University of Gothenburg), deployed at Thwaites Glacier ice front in 2019 during cruise NBP19-02 of the R/V Nathaniel B. Palmer. The dataset here comprises AUV Mission 009, and was gridded using a Gaussian weighted mean algorithm in the mbgrid program, adopting a spline interpolation to fill grid cells not filled by swath data for gaps up to 6 grid cells in size. The data have a square grid cell size of 1.5 m and are projected in UTM Zone 13S, datum WGS84.
