The integration of hydroponics into tropical agricultural systems provides a promising way to address issues including decreasing arable land, unpredictable weather patterns and concerns about food security. The present study analyses the current situation of hydroponic farming in tropical areas and highlights how it might increase agricultural output. Although hydroponics offers advantages including increased yields, efficient water use and less reliance on soil quality, it faces obstacles which include high upfront expenditures, a need for technical know-how and infrastructural limitations. The paper discusses different hydroponic systems along with their specific nutrient management needs for optimal plant growth. A case study of hydroponic farming in a tropical environment demonstrates its usefulness, advantages, and limitations. Lastly, the possibilities for hydroponics in tropical nations are evaluated, with a focus on the necessity of technology developments, regulatory assistance and sustainable methods for implementation. The review suggests that hydroponics can significantly enhance food security and show resilience against climate change when it is successfully incorporated into a tropical agricultural framework.
