Molecular dynamics simulations reveal that associated gas regulates shale oil occurrence in nanopores via competitive adsorption, reducing adsorbed oil proportion (38.3% → 21.7%). Mineral sensitivity follows quartz > calcite > kaolinite, guiding shale oil development.
