Abstract

This paper formalizes a Φ-split extension of the Compression-Resonance Thermodynamic Index (CRTI) to diagnose structural overcompression in complex adaptive systems. Feedback permeability is decomposed into external and internal channels and transformed via a sigmoid saturation function. A logarithmic compression ratio (Tadj) provides mathematical robustness under low-permeability conditions. The framework is empirically falsifiable and designed as an early-warning model for systemic fragility.
