Abstract

Hydrolysis-calcination driven phase engineering of bismuth-rich oxybromides (Bi x O y Br z ) into multiple crystalline phases, retaining 2D layered morphology and enabling enhanced visible-light photocatalytic ROS generation for degradation of pollutants and harmful algal blooms.
