Abstract

In order to examine and map the literature and to determine the types of available evidence on the outcomes associated with advanced practice nurses in patients with chronic wounds; a scoping review protocol. The review's reporting will follow the PRISMA-ScR checklist (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews, extended for Scoping Reviews) (Tricco et al., 2018). The research question is: “What types of outcomes are associated with advanced practice nurses in patients with chronic wounds?”.
