As we publish the first issue of 2026 for Energy Materials and Devices, I am pleased to address you as Editor-in-Chief.Over the past years, Energy Materials and Devices has achieved remarkable progress and steadily rise in academic influence and international visibility.Volume 4 in 2026 marks a new chapter for our journal, as Energy Materials and Devices has been indexed by ESCI, Scopus, Inspec, CAS, and DOAJ, selected as a COPE member journal and "High-Start New Journal" in Excellence Action Plan of China's STM Journals.None of this would be possible without the trust of authors, the dedication of reviewers, the leadership of the editorial board, and the hard work of the publishing team.To each of you, I extend my deepest gratitude.Against the backdrop of global energy transition and the shared pursuit of carbon neutrality, energy materials stand as the cornerstone of next-generation energy conversion, storage, and utilization systems.Since the very beginning of Energy Materials and Devices in 2023, we have been committed to publishing original, rigorous, and forwardlooking research spanning materials and devices for clean energy; building a global, interdisciplinary, and highimpact platform dedicated to advancing energy materials and devices-from fundamental discoveries to translational innovation and industrial development; bridging lab breakthroughs with real-world applications, fostering the full innovation chain from concept to commercialization.
