We report on some interesting recent theoretical and experimental advances on JPC exotics and hybrid mesons. These are the decay selection rules governing JPC exotic decay, the experimental evidence for a JPC = 1-+ exotic in eta pi and rho pi, and the production of charmonium hybrids at forthcoming B-factories.
