Abstract

Experience of obesities and their treatment reveals the variety of their clinical aspects, in other words of their morphological and functional assessment and their resistance to therapy. The question then arises as to the reasons why this assessment is so variable from one subject to another. It can be advanced that investigation of obesities from the point of view of sexual differentiation could throw some light on their mechanism and consequently their treatment could be improved.
