Specific scope The purpose of this Standard is to provide a list of biological control agents (BCAs 1 ) used in the EPPO region with no adverse effects or with acceptable adverse effects. This list is aimed to facilitate decision making on the import and release of BCAs within EPPO countries. Specific approval and amendments First approved in September 2001. Revisions 2–4 included amendments to the Appendices. Revision 5 approved in 2021–09. Revisions of the list are not subject to approval by the EPPO Council but are proposed by the joint EPPO/IOBC Panel on Biological Control Agents and approved by the EPPO Working Party for Phytosanitary Regulations.
