Common Concerns About the Force Concept Inventory

Abstract

The Physics Education Research Group at the University of Minnesota routinely administers the Force Concept Inventory (FCI) to large numbers of introductory calculus-based physics students. This paper addressed three common concerns about the FCI based on data gathered from 2178 students.
