The branching fraction of the decay <a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><a:msup><a:mi>B</a:mi><a:mo>+</a:mo></a:msup><a:mo stretchy="false">→</a:mo><a:mi>ψ</a:mi><a:mo stretchy="false">(</a:mo><a:mn>2</a:mn><a:mi>S</a:mi><a:mo stretchy="false">)</a:mo><a:mi>ϕ</a:mi><a:mo stretchy="false">(</a:mo><a:mn>1020</a:mn><a:mo stretchy="false">)</a:mo><a:msup><a:mi>K</a:mi><a:mo>+</a:mo></a:msup></a:math>, relative to the topologically similar decay <h:math xmlns:h="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><h:msup><h:mi>B</h:mi><h:mo>+</h:mo></h:msup><h:mo stretchy="false">→</h:mo><h:mi>J</h:mi><h:mo>/</h:mo><h:mi>ψ</h:mi><h:mi>ϕ</h:mi><h:mo stretchy="false">(</h:mo><h:mn>1020</h:mn><h:mo stretchy="false">)</h:mo><h:msup><h:mi>K</h:mi><h:mo>+</h:mo></h:msup></h:math>, is measured using proton-proton collision data collected by the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of <m:math xmlns:m="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><m:mn>9</m:mn><m:mtext> </m:mtext><m:mtext> </m:mtext><m:msup><m:mi>fb</m:mi><m:mrow><m:mo>−</m:mo><m:mn>1</m:mn></m:mrow></m:msup></m:math>. The ratio is found to be <o:math xmlns:o="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><o:mn>0.061</o:mn><o:mo>±</o:mo><o:mn>0.004</o:mn><o:mo>±</o:mo><o:mn>0.009</o:mn></o:math>, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. Using the world-average branching fraction for <q:math xmlns:q="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><q:msup><q:mi>B</q:mi><q:mo>+</q:mo></q:msup><q:mo stretchy="false">→</q:mo><q:mi>J</q:mi><q:mo>/</q:mo><q:mi>ψ</q:mi><q:mi>ϕ</q:mi><q:mo stretchy="false">(</q:mo><q:mn>1020</q:mn><q:mo stretchy="false">)</q:mo><q:msup><q:mi>K</q:mi><q:mo>+</q:mo></q:msup></q:math>, the branching fraction for the decay <v:math xmlns:v="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><v:msup><v:mi>B</v:mi><v:mo>+</v:mo></v:msup><v:mo stretchy="false">→</v:mo><v:mi>ψ</v:mi><v:mo stretchy="false">(</v:mo><v:mn>2</v:mn><v:mi>S</v:mi><v:mo stretchy="false">)</v:mo><v:mi>ϕ</v:mi><v:mo stretchy="false">(</v:mo><v:mn>1020</v:mn><v:mo stretchy="false">)</v:mo><v:msup><v:mi>K</v:mi><v:mo>+</v:mo></v:msup></v:math> is found to be <cb:math xmlns:cb="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><cb:mo stretchy="false">(</cb:mo><cb:mn>3.0</cb:mn><cb:mo>±</cb:mo><cb:mn>0.2</cb:mn><cb:mo>±</cb:mo><cb:mn>0.5</cb:mn><cb:mo>±</cb:mo><cb:mn>0.2</cb:mn><cb:mo stretchy="false">)</cb:mo><cb:mo>×</cb:mo><cb:msup><cb:mn>10</cb:mn><cb:mrow><cb:mo>−</cb:mo><cb:mn>6</cb:mn></cb:mrow></cb:msup></cb:math>, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic, and the third is due to the branching fraction of the normalization channel.
