The differential cross sections of the 9 Be(d,p) 10 Be and 13 C( 9 Be, 10 Be) 12 C reactions at energies of 12 and 40 MeV were analyzed within the framework of the modified distorted wave Born approximation. The peripheral character of the reactions was systematically investigated, and it was demonstrated that both reactions are predominantly peripheral in the region of the main peak of the angular distributions. The “experimental” asymptotic normalization coefficients for the 10 Be→ 9 Be+n configuration were extracted. Using the 9 Be(d,p) 10 Be reaction, the asymptotic normalization coefficients values for both the ground and first excited states of the 10 Be nucleus were determined, while the 13 C( 9 Be, 10 Be) 12 C reaction was used to obtain the asymptotic normalization coefficient value for the ground state of the 10 Be nucleus. The extracted asymptotic normalization coefficient values for the ground state obtained from the two independent reactions were found to be in good agreement with each other, confirming the reliability and consistency of the analysis.
