We discuss the temperature effects on the masses and couplings constants in the linear σ-model including the effective pion decay constant f π (T). We analyze in detail the region where our discussion is valid. The temperature effects on masses include an explicit discussion concerning the role of the thermal tadpoles as a mass contribution due to the vacuum.
