Form factors of the ρ-meson in chiral perturbation theory

Abstract

We present the calculation of the electromagnetic form factors of the ρ-meson at one loop in Chiral Perturbation Theory. The power-counting-violating terms in the loop diagrams are subtracted by using infrared regularization, and the Ward identities are explicitly verified at the order considered. The results are compared to the recent calculations carried out in the framework of non-relativistic effective field theory.
