Abstract

This multicenter study highlights the critical role of infectious diseases (ID) pharmacists in supporting ID consult services, with 89% of 1518 curbside inquiries from ID clinicians resulting in clinical management changes as recommended by the pharmacist. These findings emphasize the necessity of ID pharmacists in optimizing multidisciplinary patient care.
