Let d(n) be the divisor function and denote by [t] the integral part of the real number t. In this paper, we prove that ∑n≤ x1/cd([(x)/(nc)])=dcx1/c+Oε,c (x^max\(2c+2)/(2c2+5c+2),5/(5c+6)\+ε), where dc=∑k≥1d(k)(\frac1k1/c-\frac1(k+1)1/c) is a constant. This result constitutes an improvement upon that of Feng.
