Abstract

In the study of CP violation within and beyond the Standard Model of particle physics, pure hadronic B decays are the key players. Improving the determination of the CKM angle γ is one of the important tasks in this endeavour. Besides, the full description of pure hadronic decays due to their strong interaction dynamics remains one of the challenges. In this summary, we discuss the recent results and progress on γ determinations and direct CP violation in pure hadronic B decays as presented at CKM 2018.
